    Description

    Vintage US Swain Nelson Co Gun Sight Model 47 Nydar Gun Sight Mount Base & Cover.
    There are markings on the scope are towards the objective lens, "Nydar Model 47" and towards the eye is "Swain Nelson Company. Glenview. ILL. U.S.A. Pat. Applied for". The only other marking is a number on the bottoms of the sight (133595).
    The sight is in good condition with some minor scratches and scuff marks. Corners and edges have a little wear. Glass has no cracks or scratches. There are markings that are easy to read. Leather cover has some light wear on the exterior but no rips or tears and stitching is sewn tightly. As with all used items, a light cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
