    Description

    German World War II Army Heer Gold Tank Destruction Armored Sleeve Strip.
    The dimensions are 3 1/2” wide by 1 3/16” tall. The front shows the profile a Soviet Russian T-34 Tank. It is mounted in the center of a flat gold bullion wire strip with black cotton woven bands along the top and bottom borders. There is an OD green wool backing on the reverse side. The tank and the back plate are stamped steel magnetic construction. This was awarded to a German soldier for single handedly knocking out five Russian tanks. It was to have been worn on the upper left sleeve of the uniform.
