    EARLY MOSSBERG SNIPER RIFLE SCOPE W/ NO. 7 SCOPE MOUNT, 18" ADJUSTABLE.
    This very early looking rifle scope, an 18-in long sniper rifle scope with dials for adjustment on one end, is a project, in need of a good cleaning and possibly other work, recovered from an estate sale of a military item collector, but I do not know much about this scope. I have been told it could be as early as World war I vintage, and possibly used in the military WWI. But again, I am not an expert in these. The only markings I can find are "Mossberg no. 7 scope mount" on the mounts. I do not see a name on the scope itself, but it looks to be quality name, and I can only assume it is Mossberg as well as the amounts. Please review photos. The glass looks to be pretty good, but overall the scope reflects some age dust, scuff scratches and a bit of surface rust on the metal scope. Please review photos and I can send other photos if necessary.
